Chokie in KL

Chokie monkie has taken a surprise trip out of the country! Chokie is now in truly Asia- Malaysia. Chokie monkie took a surprise trip to visit old friends who are residing in Penang. But as part of Chokie Monkie exciting adventure, how can he miss out the capital city of Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur.

Upon Arriving into LCCT, which is Malaysia budget terminal. I was quickly whisked away and found myself boarding a bus, which lead me to a train Station. Woot Woot! I’m so excited that I can hardly contain it! It was my first time taking such HIGH SPEED train. They call it the fast train! Soon in no time, I arrived into KL SENTRAL.

I met up with my old friends at KLCC, the magnificent twin towers! See how I scale the building. BOY! Do I look like KING KONG, the mini version!
My friends suggested that we should head up to this sky top bar at Traders hotel KL and boy were my friend right!

I was utterly speechless and in awe as I walked about the SKY Bar. Its backdrop was the twin towers and surrounding the bar was a beautiful pool. Man! It was totally awesome!

Soon it was time for great food, and my friends drove to Chinatown and we had KL famous BA KUT TEH. If you are wondering what the hell is that, its actually Pork Rib Boiled with Chinese Herbs. This dish normally finishes of with a cup of Chinese tea.

After dinner, we took a nice stroll around the night market of Chinatown. They are lots of stuff to buy and see, just remember to bargain your way around.






It was time to go. We need to ensure we had enough time to drive back to Penang.

I was really sad, because there are still lots more things to talk about in KL. But I somewhat got a feeling that I will be back here again!
